Gotta be more hoax crap right?Probably, but it makes for a good news story anyway.According to a Canadian newspaper report, good old Bigfoot was hit by a pick-up truck. The article stated that a couple of vehicles were traveling on a highway near Cache Creek the day after Christmas, when suddenly the lead vehicle hit a large animal.The occupants of both vehicles emerged to see what had been hit and were surprised to discover, "there was this big hairy thing laying in the road, arms halfway down his legs and huge hands and feet."According to the second driver the animal, "was walking upright before the guy hit it."Now here is where the story really gets interesting.Reportedly the two men loaded the, still very much alive, Bigfoot into the truck and drove it to the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) office in Cache Creek where it was placed on ice.The RCMP, of course, denies that they have had a Sasquatch in their cooler since Christmas. According to Ashcroft RCMP Sgt. Dave Prentice, "Rumours persist that the creature is being kept 'on ice' somewhere in the dark recesses of the RCMP Detachment. The only cooler they have is the little fridge in the lunchroom. They keep blood samples in it as well, but no Sasquatches."Since the incident became public both the Ashcroft Cache Creek Journal and the RCMP have been bombarded with inquiries about the alleged Bigfoot in their possession.Prentice adds, "It's a good lesson that just because something is on the Internet or in print, you don't have to believe it," he said.
