(CNN) -- An alien with a lemon-shaped head and a jazz-themed encounter with a UFO at the Glastonbury Festival are among hundreds of UFO sightings detailed in the latest batch of documents released Monday by the UK's Ministry of Defence.

Fourteen files, containing over 4,000 pages of UFO sightings from 1981 to 1996, have now been placed on Britain's National Archives database and are publicly available online.

The sightings range from lights in the sky to close contact with aliens, and the files contain detailed analysis on some of the UK's most popular cases -- a number of which remain officially unexplained.

In one incident in 1995, two men in their 20s from Staffordshire, central England, told police they saw an alien with a lemon-shaped head descend from a hovering UFO and tell them "We want you; come with us."

In another sighting recorded by defense officials in 1994, two women at the Glastonbury music festival reported seeing a UFO floating above the jazz stage.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi there, My wife and I were out for an evening walk, and left our house in the Parkridge area of Saskatoon. About 30-40 seconds after leaving our house, I happened to glance up into the sky, looking kind of Southwards. I noticed an extremely bright light brighter than any of the stars moving very rapidly from the West and going East. I told my wife to look at the satellite, but we both thought it was much too bright and moving too quickly to be a satellite. After watching it for approximately 8-10 seconds, it appeared to accelerate very quickly, turned slowly from a bluish white into a bright red color, and then disappeared instantaneously. We also noticed as it travelled from West to East, it appeared to be travelling at an upward angle gaining altitude.

We kept walking, but continued to watch the sky, and approximately 4 minutes after the first sighting, my wife noticed another light travelling in the same direction but it appeared to be alot higher. This one did not appear to turn a bright red like the other, but it appeared to accelerate rapidly, and then also blinked out in an instant.

I don't know alot about satellites, but I don't think they travel West to East in a straight line, I don't think they turn from bluish-white to red, and then disappear and I have certainly never seen one move as fast as these two objects moved. I also stayed outside to observe what I thought were satellites and I noticed they appeared to be higher in the sky and moved very slowly in comparison. They were also not nearly as bright as the objects we witnessed and appeared to move in a clockwise direction along with the earth.

I also observed several planes and/or jets in the sky around the same time and they travelled much differently than the objects we noted. They also had blinking lights, whereas the objects we witnessed did not.

Both my wife and I walk alot in the evenings in the same area and have never witnessed these objects before. Can you please give us your professional opinion as to what we may have seen?

Boeing Nasa Sign Agreement On Mission Support For Commercial Space Transportation

Boeing has signed an agreement with NASA's Mission Operations Directorate (MOD) at Johnson Space Center to collaborate on mission planning, training and flight operations for the company's COMMERCIAL SPACE TRANSPORTATION (CST)-100 SPACECRAFT.

Under the new arrangement, which Boeing negotiated under its current Phase 2 NASA Space Act Agreement for Commercial Crew Development, Boeing will begin discussions with the MOD on integrating launch operations and the company's own mission control facility at Kennedy Space Center, Fla., with training and real-time operations at Johnson Space Center in Houston.

"Adding MOD to our team leverages NASA's experience in crewed space operations to ensure mission success for our CST-100 spacecraft," said Chris Ferguson, director of Crew and Mission Operations for the Boeing Commercial Crew Program. "As we continue to mature our spacecraft design, MOD technical support will ensure the CST-100 is built with the operators in mind."

Later this year, Boeing intends to enter into a larger agreement with the MOD to provide end-to-end flight operations from the command and control facility in the Mission Control Center at Johnson Space Center, the site where NASA managed the Apollo missions and all 135 flights of the space shuttle.

"Colocating initial CST-100 flight operations with the International Space Station flight control facility in the Mission Control Center will facilitate a seamless transition to regularly scheduled CST-100 operations with the space station," Ferguson said. "Working with MOD on Boeing's mission operations also will help NASA retain key proficiencies for future human spaceflight operations."

The CST-100 is a reusable capsule-shaped spacecraft based on flight-proven subsystems and mature technologies. The system can transport up to seven people, or a combination of people and cargo. Boeing has designed the spacecraft to be compatible with a variety of expendable rockets to enable competition and reduce cost over the program life cycle. The company has selected United Launch Alliance's Atlas V launch vehicle for initial test flights that will begin as early as 2015.

Boeing's Commercial Crew Program includes the design, manufacture, test and evaluation, and demonstration of an integrated Commercial Crew Transportation System -- comprised of the CST-100 spacecraft, launch vehicle, and ground and mission operations for NASA's Commercial Crew Development program.

The Boeing system will provide crewed flights to the International Space Station and also support the Bigelow Aerospace orbital space complex. The program is based on Boeing's experience and innovation evolved from more than 50 years of human spaceflight and nearly 100 years of commercial aviation.

The diamond-shaped object continued to hover in the same location in the sky for about 5-10 minutes, but I cant say an exact time. After observing it for some time, it suddenly disappeared. I then heard a loud almost "waving" noise. Its difficult to describe -- when I took notes on what I saw that day, I wrote "a little like the sound of an airplane flying, but different" the noise was slightly similar to the sounds that I would hear airplanes in New York City make, but it had more of a "wave" to it, for lack of a better word. The object reappeared across the sky (to my right) and it was moving very quickly. I watched until it moved too far away for me to see it. it was june 1996. i was driving home with 3 friends from sunnyside washington to granger washington. it was around 3pm. it was a very hot, clear sky day.we were driving east on yakima valley highway ride outside of the paul- mason dairy in sunnyside washington. nobody was really talking to each other, as the heat was miserable. i light up a cigarette, blew out the smoke and looked out the window.there hovering above the dairy was a large silver ball. i looked at it hard for a second, then asked my friends if the saw too? my friends looked at what i was looking at and one of my friends said " dude its a ufo!". it was hovering about 100-150 feet off the ground, making a slow vibrating sound. we watched it for about 1-2 mintues before the sound stoped,and the object disapeared in the blink of an eye.as we arrived to granger,the object reappeared for about 30 seconds be it disapeared again.we got home and told our parents and afew other friends but the thought we had made it up. i had heard about cattle mutilations happening in the night before, but never during the day. i did not see any mutilations that day because we were just driving the dairy. but i have always found it weird that a ufo would be hovering above a large cattle dairy in the bight daytime.

New Zealand Ufo Alarm Sounds Around North Island

There have been an "unprecedented" number of UFO sightings reported in the North Island over the past two months, UFO watchers say.

And aliens may even have visited Northland in the past five weeks, with one man reporting seeing a UFO land in the region, Suzanne Hansen, director from Ufocus NZ research network said.

She said: "He's a very credible source. He saw an object that had landed and said it was definitely not an aircraft or like anything else he had seen.

"I've got 30 (UFO/UAP) reports on my desk at the moment from the upper North Island and Northland from the past couple of weeks that we're yet to process [on top of the many others]... It's unprecedented."

Maungakaramea resident Charles Gillard reported seeing strange lights hovering above the Tangihua ranges just after 4am yesterday.

Mr Gillard said the white and blueish lights were definitely not a helicopter or plane and darted about at speed for several minutes before simply vanishing.

"I've never seen anything like it before, but it definitely wasn't somebody with a torch or vehicles as it was above the skyline, not on the hills," he said.

Inquiries could not find any helicopters or planes operating in the area at that time yesterday morning.

Ms Hansen said Mr Gillard's sighting was similar to others reported recently in Northland and Ufocus would be looking into all such reports made to its website http://www.ufocusnz.org.nz/

"Researchers we work with in Australia have reported the same things happening there with what we call a "UFO Flap" [an outbreak of UFO sightings] there as well," Ms Hansen said.

However, the NZ Skeptics (New Zealand Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal) says UFO sightings can be easily explained, usually by natural phenomena.

NZ Skeptics spokeswoman Vicki Hyde said despite the "unprecedented" number of UFO sightings recently this was the first the public had heard of the situation.

"The problem with UFO sightings is that there are a such a huge number of possible explanations for them. "Something like 80-90 per cent are people mistaking things like Venus for UFOs."

Recently I took a photo of a summer weight bread spread my daughter had given me this past Christmas and I wanted her to see how it looked. I snapped off a couple of photos and quickly left the room, suddenly feeling 'spooked'.

For some unknown reason, I deleted one of the photos, which I rarely do. I always save my original photos and then copy to other folders for use. The one I deleted was at an angle more towards the window, the first photo I had taken. It might have shown more of what I found.

I was going through my photos several days later and my eyes were immediately drawn to the window in the photo. I did some highlighting of the whole window area and that is when what I was seeing really showed up.

The rectangular screen pull tab can be clearly seen but it is the "object" above the tab that has my attention. There were no lights outside, no moon and completely dark, except for a few lights in the distance. I live on a farm.

Now if that doesn't creep someone out, I don't know what will!

Note: I live in a rural area on a farm. There have been numerous sightings of unidentified flying objects in our area. I am also an 'experiencer' and an 'intuitive'.
