Ufo Giving People The Creeps

Ufo Giving People The Creeps
Bizarre flying objects are giving people the creeps in parts of Bedford. Four friends, returning from a night out, were stunned as two movements worked their way across the skies over where they live in Putnoe.

A number of people who reside in the goldington area of town had witnessed strange sightings over the past few weeks.

One woman, who lives in Church Lane, saw a bright orange object, at about helicopter height, floating silently across from the Putnoe area over the cricker ground at The Bury towards Goldington before disappearing.

She said:"it was a really spooky experience. It wasn't a helicopter or an aeroplane, in fact it was the most non-aerodynamic thing I have ever seen. "It was bright orange, square with round corners with a bulge with tiny things sticking out.

It was almost transparent with an upside down V in the middle. It was the size of a full moon and made no noise. I have absolutely no idea what is was.
"

A second woman in the area had a similar experience a few days later. On September 12, Terry Mcnelly, who lives near Mowsbury park, Bedford was returning home with some friends around 1am when two bright objects appeared in the sky close by. He said: "It was the strangest thing. I just happened to look up and there are these two squaare things, lighting up the sky and moving from west to east.

"We stopped and got a really good look at them but couldn's decide what they were. They moved at a gentle speed, quite like a microlight and passed over the top of us, at not a great height. There was no noise at all.

"We were all quite stunned. You are sceptial about people saying they have seen strange objects in the sky - but this was definitely something out of the ordinary. They seemed to be tailing each other, and when one veered off the other seemed to take up pursuit in the same direction. It was eerie.

"I don't know what they were but I do know what they weren't." A Luton airport spokesman said they had looked at the flight track data for the date and times in question and confirm there were no Luton aircraft operations in that are at the time of the reported observations. Nor were there any signs of any unusual aircraft activity
