The Truth Behind Protecting The Ufo Core Story
The reason the "Core Story" won't go away has more to do with the players behind the game than the tales of dead alien bodies, reverse engineered alien technology, or even the counter-intelligence spin added by the Intelligence Community.
In a series of messages leaked to us in June 2005, a well placed government consultant expressed his point of view that to the extent that the "core story" may contain elements of reality, "I believe it is being properly and legally protected. To the extent it is not true, or partly not true, that part is delusional or at best, rumor."
Fiction masquerading as fact is a key element in the counter-intelligence toolkit.
A more serious note of concern is who is behind the elements that make up the "core story," what is their purpose in dissemination of elements of the tale, and who in the government provides oversight to the modern mythological version of the "greatest story ever told?"
Does the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (DCI), or even the President have a need to know about the core truth behind the "core story?"
For what it is worth, an ex-boss... a DCI [Director of Central Intelligence] (not Helms) before he died said to me:

One name left off the above list which appears in the book is Hynek. According to the book Allen Hynek was "read in." Hynek never gave me or anyone I know the impression that he was aware of the "deep secret." That could be because he was very "spooky" and knew how to play the game. But this and other things make me wonder if the book itself is salted with bad information or disinformation (not intentional on Bob's part, however).

Another name not in the above list is Robert Fugate who was involved in the Bennewitz investigation. Fugate was the guy (with others) who invented the "guide star" technique for focusing special telescopes that can be corrected for atmospheric aberrations (adaptive optics). Fugate realized that a laser beam could cause sodium in an upper atmosphere layer to glow and then the telescope could adjust its "rubber mirror" to provide a best focus of this "star" which was high above the turbulent lower atmosphere. I don't know why Fugate would be "read into" the supposedly top level UFO stuff, "unless, perhaps he "accidentally" imaged something he wasn't supposed to "(flying saucer?) and had to be read in to keep him quiet..

"It's called I Believe. It shows a different side to me. Rather than running around with dangerous, deadly men and all that, I'm trying to break the mould.....I've always had a thing about UFOs since I was a kid. I've never had an experience but I'm constantly looking at the sky just in case.....I've been to see cattle mutilations and crop circles. Some are hoaxes but others are unexplained, like the ones stretching over 1,500 metres - to do that in the pitch black is impossible. There's definitely something going on.....There's not much chance of catching UFOs on film but it's about meeting people who think there's a big change coming.....Some people are claiming they've been abducted and there's people passing messages on to them. Maybe they are telling the truth.
While the actual show was the usual fare I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised but that could possibly be as I've always liked Danny Dyer since I first seen him in (the excellent) "Human Traffic"." It is also the first time I personally have seen a decent copy of the now legendary Stan Romanek, "Alien in the window" footage but all-in-all the full documentary was nowhere near as poor as I was expecting it to be and I was pleasantly surprised to see Dyer raise the fact that Stan had an agent and a sum of 50,000 was required for the footage, which as Dyer rightly surmised raises the obvious question regarding motivation and (in my opinion) ultimately the integrity of this particular purveyor of truth.....

I knew that this table was a sophisticated sensor and was registering my thoughts, emotions, and physiology which were displayed on these screens. This being identified himself as Quaylar. Gina has stated that she has had conversations with Grays, but not Reptilians. Often the Reptilians were present during her abductions, but standing off to the side. She is under the impression that the Reptilians have little regard for humans as living beings. However, they consider some humans as valuable property.

Phil DePaolo was walking his dog about 11 p.m. behind he saw the dusk object. He hunted to get a smash look at the UFO so he went be given and grabbed his video camera since he doesn't own binoculars.
