This week, theyve released their so-called X Files UFO sightings cache from the 1970s and 80s, and the results are a mixed bag of super-secret military intrigue and an episode more akin to This Is Spinal Tap.
The Australian government seems to believe its citizens can be trusted with sensitive information more than many other nations, including the U.S. 30 years appears to be enough time to open up the vault, with very little black marker redaction involved.
Or, maybe, its just that not much was really happening in those days.
