NEW MILITARY WITNESS TO LIVING EXTRATERRESTRIAL LIFE FORM FROM THE ROSWELL NM CRASH IDENTIFIED.

Steven M. Greer MD, Director of The Disclosure Project reports that a new Army Intelligence witness has come forward with knowledge of an extraterrestrial biological life form who survived the UFO crash at Roswell, New Mexico.

THIS WITNESS SAW A LIVING ET THREE YEARS AFTER THE FAMOUS CRASH IN NEW MEXICO IN 1947. IN 1950, THIS WITNESS, WHO WAS AT A MILITARY FACILITY ON THE EAST COAST, SAW A FOUR TO FIVE FOOT TALL ET BEING WHO WAS BEING HELD IN A CAGE IN A GUARDED BUNKER. APPARENTLY THE ET WAS BEING TRANSPORTED TO A FACILITY FOR STUDY. THIS WITNESS, WHO IS HIGHLY CREDIBLE, STATES THAT HE LEARNED THAT THIS ET WAS THE SOLE REMAINING LIVING BEING FROM THE ROSWELL CRASH IN JULY OF 1947. THE ET HAD A LARGER THAN HUMAN HEAD, AND WAS YELLOW-GREY IN COLOUR. THE ET WAS IN A SMALL CAGE AND UNDER ARMED GUARD. THIS WITNESS STATES THAT ANOTHER ET SURVIVED THE CRASH BUT HAD SINCE DIED IN CAPTIVITY.

A separate military witness, whose father was a senior official in the US Government, has told The Disclosure Project, that his father made a death-bed confession of seeing an ET being at a facility near where this new Army Intelligence witness had seen the ET.

Recently, the sealed account of Lieutenant Walter Haut was released after his death where he confirmed the extraterrestrial origins of the egg-shaped object that crashed in New Mexico in 1947. Dr. Greer stated, "There is growing evidence that there have been extraterrestrial vehicles visiting Earth for many decades and that this has been kept secret for reasons other than national security. The energy and propulsion systems behind these spacecraft have been studied and been kept secret because this disclosure would terminate the need for oil, gas, coal and other forms of polluting but highly profitable energy.

The Roswell event is only one of many which show that rogue covert projects are handling a matter which would best be managed by calmer heads: THE ROSWELL CRASH WAS IN FACT A DELIBERATE TARGETING OF AN ET VEHICLE, AND OTHER STAR WARS TYPE EVENTS HAVE OCCURRED WHERE ROGUE MILITARY OPERATIONS HAVE TARGETED THESE VISITORS. It is a dangerous and unnecessary game that needs public oversight and full disclosure to the people. Rather than engaging in hostile actions, we need to form an international body to deal openly with this subject and make peaceful contact with these visitors. Militarizing space and targeting these ET vehicles is dangerous, foolish and highly risky.

IT IS TIME FOR THE TRUTH TO BE KNOWN OPENLY AND PEACEFUL CONTACT MADE BY THOSE WHO CAN RESPOND TO THIS CHALLENGE IN A PEACEFUL MANNER. The advanced technologies that have resulted from tax- payer funded research should be released so that we can move to the next chapter of human civilization- a post-carbon future, free from our addiction to oil and the resulting damage to the Earth's eco-system.

The Disclosure Project is calling for open Congressional hearings on the matter and has identified several hundred military, intelligence and corporate witnesses to events and projects related to ET encounters. My boyfriend conscious me that some Christmas I tell him a story about a UFO. He meant he thought the Christmas lights reminded me of it.

This blind date, he insisted that I research to hook any information about what I had seen in the Ocala National Coppice.

I had told him of an encounter I had and that it was reported in the Ocala Victory Direction the close day. Yet, I had never persued any information about it.

On May 14, 1978 at night, I was opportunity native land from Ocala with a girlfriend. I was overcast down an unpaved divide road everyplace I lived, in imitation of I had an encounter with a craft.

All I can recapture of the performance is that my chum and I were cachet, diagonal be in support of something opposed to my car, looking up at the craft. It was a ambiguous experience.

I remember looking at her LP and preoccupied that the light was so pleasant, that I may perhaps see petite hairs on her search. I recapture imprint the same I was transport in muzzy force.

I can best strain the craft as reminding me of giant bribe toys. It had round, pod-like compartments allied with hulking cylinders. It had sore, ashen and I unsure red lights (LOOKED BLUSHING). Lucky, the wane seemed to seem the same pollute and nebulous neon lights.

I unsure it was no advanced than 20 - 30 feet to a different place from us. I do not remember in receipt of out of my car, or in receipt of be in support of something appearing in my car and departure native land.

My research of this performance corresponds with the sightings at the Fade away Refuge Electronic Center. So, for any other reports of this sighting, I mettle verify 100%, that this craft was at hand.

November 2002 London Ufo Landing

In June 2011 a man named Brian Seers got in touch with me via Richplanet.net about a possible UFO landing that he and his friends witnessed back in November 2002 in London. Unfortunately he did not send through any additional details after the initial correspondence, so at present this is all that is known about what took place.

INCIDENT DETAILS

It was a cold but clear night in November 2002. Brian and three friends were out doing some after dark fishing. It was 9.15pm and they were all sitting along the bank. Brian turned round and noticed a strange looking object on the ground. It was about 25 feet away from them, and looked like a large disc-shaped object with a raised dome on the top. It was completely black in colour and there were no markings or lighting on it. It was about 12-13 feet across and 10 foot in depth.

Brian did not approach the object but informed his friends about it. When they turned round and also saw the object they appeared to become panicked. They quickly packed up their fishing gear and left the area, and Brian headed away with them. He has no idea how long the object remained in the area for, but when he returned to the location it was no longer there.

INCIDENT ANALYSIS

Could the object seen have actually been a landed UFO in close proximity to the witnesses? It certainly appeared to be a "classic" flying saucer shape. It is unknown at present if it was really black in colour or if this was just because it was after dark and in shadow. It certainly appeared unusual to the witnesses, and spooked some of them enough to get them to leave the area rather than approach it. The actions of the men do sound unusual; I would have expected at least some of them to approach it to make sure whether it really was a landed craft or something else.

As none of them did go right up to it, we cannot rule out the possibility that it was something mundane that was placed there temporarily. Perhaps it was an unusual model or modern art sculpture, or perhaps some kind of container. You may feel that this sounds unlikely, but it is very easy to mistake a mundane object for something more unusual, especially after dark. The object did not move at all, did not have any lighting on it and was completely silent, so other than the apparent shape of the object and the fact that it was only there temporarily, there is nothing else which would suggest it actually was a landed craft.

Unfortunately we will probably never know whether this really was a UFO landing or just a case of misidentification, but it is an interesting case none the less.

Ufo Fireworks Dream Followed By Olympic Ufo Fireworks

On Sunday morning July 22, 2012 I received a dream from The Lord. Before I started having these dreams The Lord instructed me that they would be coming and I was to write them down. The following is what I wrote down in my journal:

"I was in some sort of street festival or some other type of public celebration that was taking place at night. I remember that the mood was festive.

There were fireworks in the sky, and some man that I did not know turned to me and pointed out how exciting they were and asked me what I thought about them.

It was at this time that I noticed a strange occurrence in the sky off to the right. It appeared as if it was Aurora Borealis, or something that looked like it. It was green at first and then a yellow color.

I turned to the man who addressed me earlier and told him that "they" always try and distract us from where we should really be looking. A very short time later it appeared as if the smoke from the fireworks was filling the air and then very suddenly the smoke cleared and the sky seemed to open and a large, circular UFO was directly above us.

People began to scream and run, and I could feel the fear and panic that had overtaken the entire area. The "UFO" was not friendly and it seemed to be firing laser-like energy beams at people and buildings. I saw one such beam strike a building and the building exploded...then I woke up."

The week leading up to the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games was intense and productive. On Friday afternoon I had a couple of hours of peaceful quiet to spend with The Lord and during that time I sought The Lord about the direction He seemed to be taking me in regards to my work for Him. A great deal was revealed, and the nature of it was such that I was a bit taken aback at first. I told The Lord that I was willing to do whatever He had for me, but the nature of it was such that if He could give me a sign...a clear, undeniable, unmistakable sign to serve as a confirmation of the nature of my ministry that it would be of great help.

I left it with The Lord and over the course of Friday and Saturday He continued to show me what He has in mind for me. I spoke to Bob for nearly three hours last night about everything that has been going on with the Olympics, what The Lord has been showing us and telling us, and we looked at some of the comments being sent in from folks around the world who have been reading the blog.

One of the comments mentioned a UFO sighting over the Olympic stadium and included a link to the video. After seeing the video, I recognized that this was the confirming sign that I had asked The Lord for. To borrow a phrase from Bob, "The Lord saw me coming" and gave me the dream five days prior to asking for a sign and six days prior to seeing the video. Praise The Lord!

Prior to the Olympics an article appeared on the Daily Mail featuring former British Minister of Defense, and UFO expert, Nick Pope:

"One of the UK's top UFO experts has given his views on the likelihood of aliens suddenly appearing in our skies - and how the international community would respond.

Nick Pope, who has more than two decades under his belt at the Ministry of Defence, said mass summer events - like the Olympic Games in London - would be a prime time for crafts from otherworlds to present themselves to mankind.

He warned: 'With the summer of mass events we are all on high alert for terrorism. But we must also cast our eyes further afield and be prepared for even the most seemingly unfathomable.'"

ANTHONY BRAGALIA TAKES CREDIT FOR OTHER RESEARCHERS WORK

The following article is a revision of the original (12-13-12) after Mr. Balthaser & Mr. Bragalia discussed the matter.

Anthony Bragalia's latest article entitled "Roswell Officer Speaks from the Grave: Taped Confession of ET Recovery Revealed", posted on his bragalia.blogspot.com on December 6, 2012 is another of his articles containing wrong, and misleading information where in my opinion he also wrongly took credit for being the first to reveal certain information. I previously called Bragalia's hand in January 2010 about an article he wrote about the BLM and the Foster ranch where the Roswell debris was found.

The taped confession he refers to is an "oral history video recording" that former Historical Researcher Wendy Connors and I did with Walter Haut at the UFO Museum November 15, 2000. (My copy of the videotape has the following notation on the cover: "Copyright (c) MM-Wendy Connors/Dennis Balthaser".) In Bragalia's article he lists the date of the recording as "1999," which indicates he did not know it was a video recording or the date it was done. He also states that, "Wendy Connors has graciously and generously entrusted him with access to her years of research materials, now in the care of an archivist in the Pacific Northwest."

I contacted Wendy about that statement, and she emphatically informed me that, "she gave him permission to get copies of printed materials from her archives, but DID NOT give him permission to use the Haut interview we did." The Walter Haut interview we did "is not in the public domain." Apparently this is where the confusion came into play, as Tony has an email from Wendy stating he has "Carte Blanche" to her archived material.

That brings me to the copyright law. The Haut interview as stated above, is copyrighted jointly by Wendy and I. I was never contacted by Bragalia about using any portion of the interview, before he wrote it, and consequently suggested that he remove it in its entirety from his blog or any other website that might have posted it.

"AFTER" Bragalia heard about this editorial I was writing he did finally call me, and I am of the opinion that he was not aware that I was part of the interview or had the joint copyright with Wendy. His reason for not calling earlier was due to other articles I had written that were critical of his research (like now), highlighting errors and erroneous statements etc. The 27-second audio recording he originally had in the article was removed quickly after hearing about my concern, which was the prudent thing to do, claiming that had he known about the copyright he would have called me. I will accept that and advised him to be more diligent in the future when doing his research.

Bragalia had no knowledge of how or when Wendy and I discovered some of the information we discussed with Walter during the interview. I can tell you that some of the information came from Walter's daughter prior to the interview and that 6 pages of questions and comments were used to conduct the interview by me, with his daughter agreeing to the questions to be presented. (I have a copy of the written agenda used with a note that she had seen the agenda.) There were no restrictions placed on Wendy or I about what would be discussed in the interview, which covered Walter's personal and military life as a video oral history, and were explained to him to his satisfaction during the first part of the recording

In the first paragraph of Bragalia's article he refers to Walter Haut as a Lieutenant Colonel and Press Officer. Walter was a Lieutenant not a Lieutenant Colonel. Considering the difference in rank between a Lieutenant Colonel and Lieutenant is more than an oversight as Bragalia admitted it was on his part.

In the same paragraph he states that a portion of the rare audiotape is revealed publicly by him for the first time in his article. Wendy Connors and I being interviewed on the radio show "Strange Days Indeed", years ago played a small portion of the tape as copyright owners, so Bragalia should not have taken credit for revealing something for the first time. Our interview with Walter was not the first time that he revealed some of the information, but was one of the reasons Wendy and I decided to do the oral history with him.

The notarized declaration of 2002 that Bragalia mentions as being published in Schmitt and Carey's book, was not written by Walter, but by Don Schmitt by his own admission on the "Paracast" radio show. Walter signed it in the presence of a visitor to the UFO Museum, whose last name is not listed as the witness on the affidavit in their book. Neither Schmitt, nor Carey were present when Walter signed it. There was another affidavit signed by Walter Haut in 1993 witnessed by Max Littell, who along with Glenn Dennis and Walter Haut were the original founders of the UFO Museum. The verbiage, content and style of writing in the 2002 affidavit was totally different than the 1993 affidavit and did not sound like the man Wendy and I interviewed in 2000.

Bragalia makes no reference to some of the photos used in his article as having requested permission to use them, such as the movie film prop belonging to the Museum, or the Roswell Daily record newspaper that he shows in the article. Perhaps in Bragalia's mind he is the first to reveal those photos also. A good researcher would make sure he has permission to use certain information before going public with it.

Having volunteered at the Museum from 1996-1998, I had the opportunity to visit with Walter daily and had the utmost respect for him. I in fact wrote a tribute to him on January 2, 2006 after his death in 2005. I also wrote an editorial on October 1, 2007 about the 2002 affidavit Walter signed written by Don Schmitt. Both articles are archived on my website in the Editorials link.

If Bragalia is going to write future articles about Roswell, he needs to thoroughly research his information before going public, and honor copyright laws, when they apply as they did in this latest article about Walter Haut. I do not take lightly those who use other researchers years of work for their own credit, and can assure you I will publicly do whatever is needed to keep the field of Ufology honest. Copyright laws are there for a reason, to prevent people from taking credit for other researchers work.

In our phone conversation Tony admitted that he "assumed" that I was just sitting in on the interview rather than being an actual participant in the interview, and never bothered to contact me, or question my involvement with the interview, knowing I was present. I would like to believe that Anthony Bragalia is a better researcher than what he presented in the article, and would hope that any future articles he writes are better researched than this one was.

I was pleased that he finally did contact me, and I accept the fact that he admitted he should have also contacted me about the copyright, and did have the short audio clip removed as I requested, however I stand firm on my thoughts about the wrong and misleading information he presented in the article.

Famous 1964 Sighting was a College Prank After 45 years the truth is now revealed- one of the most famous UFO sightings in history was a hoax. The recent confession of an elderly College President -and a newly discovered document- indicate that the 1964 sighting of a landed UFO by Socorro, NM policeman Lonnie Zamora was the result of an elaborate school prank. This incredible story is publicly recounted for the first time ever by individuals who have held the secret of Socorro for decades.

THE SOCORRO UFO STORY

Socorro Policeman Lonnie Zamora was performing his town patrol duties on Friday, April 24, 1964. But this would be unlike any other patrol Sgt. Zamora had ever experienced. At about 5:50 PM Sgt. Zamora started pursuit of a speeding car. But the chase was broken off when Zamora heard a loud explosion. He thought perhaps it came from a dynamite shack nearby. He then observed a cone of flame traveling over a hill. Once over the hill, Zamora stopped his car about 100 feet away from what he reported as a strange landed, 20 foot "aluminum-white" oval object resting on structured "legs." The ovoid had a red insignia about two feet wide on its surface. Though the artistic rendition of the UFO above depicts an opening- Zamora had reported the object as smooth, without any windows or doors. Zamora also noticed what appeared to be two figures "the size of small adults or large kids" and "normal in shape" wearing "white coveralls" walking around the object.

As Zamora started to approach the object on foot, the figures jumped away from his view. As Zamora left his car, he bumped it and his glasses fell off. He reports that a flame from the underside of the craft then appeared and the object roared away. Zamora heard a high-pitched whine and then silence. The object traveled very fast over him, and then just three feet above a nearby shack- and finally out of view over another hill. Left at the site were four "landing impressions" as well as areas of burnt creosote bush near where the object has rested.

Zamora, shocked, then radioed to another officer what he had just observed. When the officer asked Zamora "What does it look like?" Zamora responded, "It looks like a balloon." Zamora would later state that he did not know exactly what it was -it could have been a secret military experiment or even ET. Zamora has remained reluctant to offer his opinion on the specific nature or origin of the craft. He says it was strange and frightening. But he leaves the analysis to others- and only indicates that he was sincere in reporting what he had observed. And Zamora was sincere. And he was extremely cooperative with investigators. But he was also hoodwinked.

The period following the sighting in 1964 found Socorro a town turned upside-down. It was also an active one for Lonnie Zamora. He was visited by many journalists and UFO researchers. This included officials from the US Air Force Project Blue Book, investigators from the civilian UFO study group NICAP and noted skeptics. The story received national and international media attention. To this very day Socorro remains one of the most well-known UFO incidents in history. Still living, long retired and exhausted of the matter, Zamora now avoids any talk about the event.

THE INCRIMINATING DOCUMENT

A former New Mexico Tech President affirmed in the 1960s in a letter to renowned scientist Dr. Linus Pauling that the Socorro UFO was a hoax.

A letter from Dr. Linus Pauling located within the Special Collections of Oregon State University (where the Pauling papers are archived) provides insight into the true nature of the Socorro sighting. In a 1968 letter to Dr. Stirling Colgate -the President of New Mexico Tech- Pauling inquires about the Socorro sighting. Colgate replied to Pauling by sending back Pauling's letter with a handwritten notation at the bottom. Dr. Colgate writes: "I have a good indication of the student who engineered the hoax. Student has left. Cheers, Stirling."

Dr. Pauling (a multiple Nobel-Prize winner) was very interested in the UFO phenomena. An earlier article by this author details Pauling's secret UFO studies. He was researching the Socorro-Zamora landing case and decided to write to his friend, Stirling Colgate, President at New Mexico Tech to see what he might have known about the incident. Dr. Colgate's blunt reply leaves little doubt that tricksters were involved. But to allay any further doubt, I contacted Colgate.

THE COLLEGE PRESIDENT'S CONFESSION

As well as having been NM Tech's President, Dr. Stirling Colgate was a world-famous astrophysicist at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Considered a science visionary, he specialized in plasma and atmospheric physics. His discoveries in these fields are acknowledged as monumental. His associates included such luminaries as Oppenheimer and Pauling. Colgate still maintains an office at Los Alamos at age 84! This author emailed Colgate to see what his thoughts are today on the Socorro UFO and to see if he would shed additional light on the event. In my email to Colgate I attached the Pauling letter from 1968 with Colgate's handwritten notes on the Socorro UFO.

Colgate took several days to reply to me. In his email, Colgate answered very cryptically and sparingly:- To the question, "Do you still know this to be a hoax? His reply was simple: "Yes."

- When asked, "Today, decades later, can you expand on what you wrote to Pauling about the event?" He wrote: "I will ask a friend, but he and other students did not want their cover blown."

- He offered that the hoax, "was a no-brainer."

- When asked "Specifically how did they do it?" He just answered, "Will ask."

- When queried, "Have you ever publicly commented on this?" he replied "Of course not."It has been some time now, and I have never heard back from Stirling Colgate. He indicated that he would "make some inquiries" to see what more could be detailed on the event. Perhaps his "friend and the other students" who he alludes to are still not ready to come forward and be identified. As Colgate puts it, maybe they still do not "want their cover blown."

Or perhaps Colgate was stunned that the Pauling letter was ever discovered- and knows that he has already said too much. Colgate is likely conflicted about having known about the hoaxers -and the truth about the Socorro UFO- for decades. He said nothing publicly then- and prefers to not say a whole lot more now.

THE COLLEGE PROFESSOR'S CORROBORATION

Dr. Frank T. Etscorn was a Psychology Professor at New Mexico Tech from the mid-1970s until the early 1990s. Dr. Etscorn is famously known for being the inventor of the Nicotine Patch. A wing of the College was dedicated to Etscorn in 1993. Etscorn had known about the Socorro UFO event from the decade before he began work at the College- and it had always intrigued him. This author had learned of his interest and contacted Dr Etscorn to see if he had ever found out anything about the sighting and what had really happened. In a recent telephone conversation, Dr. Etscorn related:

"As a project, a former student of mine had examined the case in the mid 1980s. Using yearbooks and networking, she began calling alumni who were at Tech in 1964. She somehow located one of the former students believed to have been involved. He would not expand on the hoax or have his name used- but she found out it was a hoax. My memory of her investigation is spotty- it was 25 years ago. But I remember that she found also found out through records that coincidentally a rear projection device was stolen from the campus the day of the UFO sighting."

Etcorn was a noted psychologist. He said that the psychology of these Techies was such that they liked to fool those who they thought were foolish.

We discussed how the pranksters may have incorporated 1) a large helium balloon resting on the desert floor to appear "landed" and then released up into the air on cue. Perhaps it was a reflective white colored balloon or a balloon fitted over with glossy-white craft paper- with added "landing struts" and a red insignia drawn on its side 2) "roaring" or "whining" explosives, pyrotechnics, model rockets, thrown flares or a flame device 3) smaller students dressed in white lab coats acting as the "aliens" and 4) the digging out of "landing depressions" and burning of nearby bushes. Soil or rock in the area may have been "salted" with silicon or trinitite from the school's Geology Lab. And perhaps it was intentional that Zamora was led to the landed craft by a speeding car. One of the students may have purposely engaged Lonnie in a car chase to lure him to where the hoax was staged. Zamora reports that he "broke the chase" to investigate the UFO- just as the students knew that he would.

Though these ideas about how the hoax may have been accomplished are strictly speculative, Dr. Etscorn reminded me of an important fact: Nothing that was reported was beyond the abilities of "smart Techies" to create.

WHAT A TECHIE LEARNED

Dave Collis was a freshman at New Mexico Tech in 1965, a year after the Socorro UFO incident. Collis went on to become a published scientist helping to lead the Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center at NM Tech. He is considered a world expert in researching blast effects and explosives.

Collis explained that he himself enjoyed planning pranks when he was a student at Tech. In 1965, he and his friends had planned a "paranormal" prank and shared the plan with one of his trusted Professors. The Professor (who had been with Tech for years) told him that NM Tech had a long history of pranking- and that one of them was especially noteworthy. Collis then said that the Professor (whose name he does not remember or does not wish to offer) had "confidentially told me that the UFO sighting by the town cop was a hoax done by Techie students." Collis did not want to press the Professor on who did it -or how. Collis says, "he was telling me this in confidence, so I didn't ask for the details and he didn't offer." When asked if the Professor could have been making up the hoax story, Collis replied that in the context of his conversation with him- there was no reason for him to lie. The Professor had told him the truth about the hoax, of that he was sure. Collis, when told about Stirling Colgate's confirmation that it was a hoax said, "Colgate is a brilliant man and he was a great College President. From what I was told by my Professor, it was a hoax. And if Colgate also says it was a hoax, it was." Collis (who is a pyrotechnics expert and often directed NM Tech's July 4 Fireworks) said that it always has surprised him that people didn't seem to realize just how "terrestrial" the reported Zamora UFO seemed to be in the first place.

THE REASON FOR THE HOAX

Collis also explained that Lonnie Zamora had a reputation for "hounding" the Techie students during that time. The students and the Socorro police did not have a particularly good relationship back then. He said that there was "a lot of friction" at the time between what were felt to be "elitist and educated Techies" versus the "under-educated and simpler town folk." Zamora was always harassing the students for seemingly no reason, and at every opportunity. Many of the college kids just did not like him. What better way to "get back" at Zamora than for them to fool a fool?

Little known is that Zamora himself had worked at New Mexico Tech as a mechanic for seven years before becoming a patrolman. He had developed an insiders view of these college kids' world- a world that was very different than his own. When he left to join the town police, he was then in a position to exert his "influence" on these same kids. Collis further explains that Zamora was known as being "not especially educated." Supporting this are the observations of USAF investigator Dr. J. Allen Hynek. He wrote in his report of his interview of Zamora, "I would conclude that Zamora, although not overly bright or articulate, is basically sincere."

PRANKS AND GEEKS

As readers of my articles well realize, I am convinced that ET has visited Earth. But I am also a critical thinker. I recognize the role that pranks and hoaxes have played when it comes to things UFO. I am not happy to report the results of my investigation- but it is a story that must be told. It is an obligation to history and truth. The compulsion to prank is a reality we must always bear in mind in evaluating all UFO reports.

Neil Steinburg's classic study on college pranks, "If At All Possible Involve a Cow: The Book of College Pranks" is very instructive relative to the Socorro hoax. Steinburg's hypothesis is that college pranks happen because there are many young creative minds that feel "stifled." And these minds are looking for release- a little fun. And there is a "geek" connection. Complicated and sophisticated pranks are often pulled off by engineering or science students who have the technical know how. The many well-known stunts by students at MIT and Caltech show that the grander the stunt- the more highly educated the students. The "fun" of such pranks does not come from admission to them, it comes from the reaction to them.

I recall two pranks that were pulled off by others during my own college days when living in Boston. MIT students had perfected two stunts that were mind-boggling. The first involved taking an enormous promotional prop "cow statue" (weighing a quarter-ton) from the lawn of a suburban steakhouse. Somehow the students were able to hoist the huge cow figure on top of the famous MIT "dome buiding." They removed it the following day -and returned it to the steakhouse lawn- without anyone ever having seen them. To this day, no one has ever owned up to the prank- and no one has ever come forward stating that they saw the stunt being carried out. It is still unknown how this was accomplished without use of a heavy construction crane. The second prank involved a high-tech catapult. Somehow the MIT students were able to hurl large clear water balloons made of very thin material up and over two city streets. The water balloons were sent careening across the block with precision to land exactly at the entrance of another college's building. When people went to open the door, invisible "water bombs" hit them out of nowhere- causing them to get soaked. Visibly stunned, they had no idea where the water burst came from- and had to go to class soaking wet.

THE SOCORRO HOAXERS TODAY

Great jokes can be carried out with great planning and calculation. But great jokes can also backfire. Perhaps the Socorro UFO hoaxers continue to get a "big laugh" over the whole thing and revel in their prank done decades ago. But it is more likely that the New Mexico Tech pranksters -who perhaps became famous scientists- are today oldsters in retirement struggling with what they did. They played a trick on a community, a nation and the world. They are keenly aware that they had involved the Air Force, media, scientists and many others. They know that Zamora's life was made difficult by the event. He was made a spectacle and suffered hugely from the unwanted attention. They must ponder their youthful folly- and how much time, effort and money was expended in the prank's long aftermath. It was "a prank gone wild." It had escalated beyond what they could ever have imagined. Often pulling off a brilliant prank "traps" the pranksters. They create the illusion, but they never receive the "credit." And no credit was ever sought by those who engineered one of the greatest hoaxes in UFO history.

Giant Ufo Crash With Aliens In India Report April Fools Day Hoax

We came across an online news report from the Chandigarh Tribune in India dated March 31. The headline:

'UFO crashlands in fields near city'

We've been unable to find any other reports on this UFO story but, and this is a BIG BUT, the news source, the Chandigarh Tribune, seems to be a legitimate news source ranked 18, 292 on Alexa. According to the report, a giant UFO, an 'unidentified flying object said to be carrying "aliens" crash landed near Zirakpur in the early hours of Friday morning'. Zirakpur is a satellite town of Chandigarh (Pop. 10 million) located in the Mohali district of Punjab which would make the UFO story, a 'local' news report from the Tribune. According to the report, the UFO-an elliptical object the size of 'five cargo ships' crash landed 'with a thud' in a field. Punjab police have cordoned off the site with NASA officials 'on their way' to investigate the crash. Also headed to the alleged UFO crash:

'Experts from the department of space and the Atomic Energy Commission, sleuths from the Research & Analysis Wing (RAW) and crack commandos of the army's special forces are believed to be on their way to the site.'

When researching this report we discovered something we believe is interesting, the lack of UFO reports from India with a population of 1.2 billion people. We discovered a report which claimed there's secret UFO bases on the border of China and India which both the China and India governments 'hide'. (More on the alleged UFO bases later.)

Chandigarh, March 31

In a startling development an unidentified flying object said to be carrying "aliens" crash landed near Zirakpur in the early hours of Friday morning. Estimated to be the size of five cargo ships, this elliptical object that emitted an "intense white light encircled the fields before it went down with a thud. No one is believed to have been killed or injured and the area has been cordoned off by a large contingent of the Punjab police that has been rushed to the site.

Right after the crash, radio signals were severely disrupted with cellphones going off the air for several minutes. Experts from the department of space and the Atomic Energy Commission, sleuths from the Research & Analysis Wing (RAW) and crack commandos of the army's special forces are believed to be on their way to the site.

Top government officials said the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA), the US space agency, had been informed and senior scientists were expected to arrive at the scene soon.

The Bureau of Paranormal Research & Extra Terrestrial Activities in Denver, Colorado immediately released reports of some "alien spacecraft" signals being detected in the area of the Indian subcontinent. A bureau team is expected to arrive in the city in a special jet on Thursday.

First reports received from the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) said the recent Supermoon activity could be the reason behind "pushing" the UFO towards the earth. "The moon's gravitational pull, which was the biggest in nearly two decades only last week, is likely to have waylaid the spacecraft," said T Rangarajan, who heads ISRO's special projects cell.

Noted scientist Yash Pal said the UFO could probably be a "reconnaissance ship" and that there could be more such UFOs on the way. "The size of the ship that crashed in Punjab is small. It means it's an offshoot vehicle. The mother ship could be nearby," he warned.

However, Pal did not comment when asked whether the world should be bracing itself for the kind of "alien invasion" that was portrayed in the Hollywood film 'Independence Day'.

A defence ministry official said: "We don't have any expertise or role in respect to UFOs. Neither are we aware of the existence of extraterrestrial life forms". The Indian Air Force, which has specialized electronic intelligence aircraft, declined to comment.

The sighting of the UFO was confirmed by a farmer who, along with his son, saw a "very luminous" object in the sky nearly an hour after midnight. Daljit Singh, 45, and his son Maninder, 17, who have been living in Zirakpur for the past 15 years, said their first reaction was that it was a "shooting star".

"Maninder saw it first and even tried to snap it on his mobile," says Daljit, claiming there were two distinct "lights" and, as they moved in the northwest direction, one of them got "extinguished on its own". Some scholars are relating it to the 2012 phenomenon that comprises a range of eschatological beliefs that cataclysmic events will occur on December 21, 2012, which will mark the end of the world. Scenarios posited for the end of the world include the earth's collision with a passing planet or an invasion by aliens.

So yes, it turns out the photo of an on-the-record witness to the 2006 Chicago O'Hare UFO incident isn't a picture of "Sam Peterson" at all. It's a police mug shot of a Florida teenager named Andrew Harris, who was arrested with a buddy three years ago for defecating in a resort swimming pool. And that's just the beginning.

Now, before going any farther, De Void admits De Void must've been out of De Void's ever-lovin' skull to put any stock into a UFO lead coming from an obscure online boxing magazine whose practices - in hindsight - are so deranged they appear to be completely, uh, devoid of logic. I can rationalize it as a consequence of the mainstream media's abdication of the UFO issue to the alternative-press trash heap, but still...

For Frank Warren, however, this baffling entity called Ringside Report began to stink up his radar a couple of years ago. Warren, a long-time researcher and editor of The UFO Chronicles, began to have reservations about a Ringside Report source named Stan Hernandez. Hernandez was initially described in 2011 by RR "reporter" Geno McGahee as an 81-year-old receiving death threats on account of his speaking out as an eyewitness to the 1947 Roswell UFO crash. In later updates, McGahee's byline disappeared altogether in lieu of Hernandez, the alleged octogenarian, who emerged as RR's Jimmy Olsen on the UFO beat. Hernandez harvested blockbuster stories from sources that Warren couldn't verify to save his life.

"Hernandez's scoop" last week about the O'Hare witness prompted Warren to dig more deeply into RR's UFO archives. (Right, exactly - why does a boxing magazine run so much UFO junk in the first place?) As he began revisiting the stories, Warren noticed a pattern. "The photos of their sources," he says, "looked like mug shots. Then when I checked, whoa! They were mug shots."

What Warren discovered upon submitting RR's photo URLs to a Google search was not merely criminal activity, but a litany of heinous sex crimes. Warren quit looking after the first half dozen RR source photos he checked all led to perv-crime links. "I think I got the picture," he says. "I didn't need to see any more."

So, just to set the record straight, for anyone who might take Ringside Report's UFO coverage seriously: "Scott Sanders" is really Richard Sanden, charged with necrophilia. Abduction expert "Dr. David Lister" is Robert Melia, busted for assaulting minors. Former NASA they're-censoring-alien-photos whistleblower "Anthony Austin" is actually Kurtis Peter Peterson; alien abductee "Buck Stabler," who supposedly died under mysterious circumstances, is James Naylor; "Richard Atkins," who predicted an alien apocalypse this year, is Gustavo Castanon. Authorities arrested all three for exhibiting a hideously unnatural thing for dogs.

Last week, De Void emailed McGahee for more information about "Stan Hernandez" and "Sam Peterson." McGahee, listed on RR's web site as managing editor for graphics, replied that he'd left a message with his ace octogenarian reporter. After several days of zilch, De Void sent another query to McGahee, who responded: "I am sorry that Stan has not gotten back to you. I only edit and post articles. I don't have anything to do with the actual articles, unless you're talking about my boxing and world news that I cover." De Void left a followup phone message for a direct interview with McGahee that has not been returned. Among other things, McGahee's Facebook page, which shows him wearing devil horns, states that he's a horror film producer.

De Void is not entirely convinced this isn't one massively bad dream. But in the event that the previous account is actually occurring on this real-world plane, I may have my head examined or enter a 10-step program that'll wean me off this twisted futile blog, once and for all, and guide me back into the bright lights of higher ground.

Military Personnel Swarm Crashed Alien Craft In England

JANUARY 23, 1974. NORTH WALES ENGLAND

An extraordinary event took place in Llandrillo, North Wales, United Kingdom. On a winter's night, a great terrible noise was heard by many of the village, and the first thing that came to mind was that there had been an explosion of some type. As some of the villagers went outside to see what had occurred, they were amazed by the scene of blue and orange lights near the mountain of Cader Bronwen. From witness statements, and the next day's press, came this explanation, "There was a huge explosion a few minutes after 8:30 PM. From various accounts, this preceded, some say by up to two or three minutes, a violent shaking of the ground, like a medium-sized earthquake - objects inside houses were knocked off shelves." In a very similar scenario to the Kecksburg crash, authorities rushed to the scene; police first, followed by Royal Air Force personnel. Immediately, the area around the crash was cordoned off with nobody allowed to enter. This operation seemed like overkill; the area being so remote, and uninhabited. This search and rescue lasted for several days in the Berwyn Mountains. One witness, who was working at a hotel in Bala, stated that a group of men had arrived at the hotel, and stayed several days. They were involved in the operations at the crash site, but refused to answer any questions about the activities there. One of the most compelling accounts of the events in Wales came from a lady who was a nurse living at Llanderfel. She was asked by local police to assist in a plane crash near her house. Gathering her things together, and not having any one to watch her teenage daughters, she took them with her to the location given by the police. She was driving on B4391, which goes from Bala to Llangynog. The road was nearly deserted, being at 10:00 PM on a cold, wintry night. As she proceeded up into the mountains, she was astonished at what she saw next There was an object "quite intact" which was LARGE, CIRCULAR, AND GLOWING an orange color. Her and her two daughters were within a few hundred feet of it. She could not be mistaken at what she saw, a UFO. She could also see police and military personnel, which were much closer to the UFO. They instructed her to leave the area, even after she explained why she was there. Afraid for her and her daughters' safety, she left without argument. Authorities escorted her from the site. The roads around the site of the unusual object stayed closed for a number of days afterwards. The nurse talked to some of the local shepherds who complained that they were not even allowed to tend their flocks. She and others were convinced of a military and governmental cover up of what really happened on January 23, 1974 near the Berwyn Mountains. Was the explosion a mechanical failure of the orange glowing craft, or did another UFO crash? We may never know for certain. NOTE: The above image is a rendering.

Ominous entities visit UFO witnesses to threaten and coerce

them to silence.

Men in black are unknown entities who threaten and menace UFO

witnesses. They claim to be from obscure government agencies

that don't exist and they drive brand new vintage cars with

license plates that subsequently prove to be unissued numbers.

Men in black ultimately prove to be harmless, despite all

their threats of beatings and kidnapping. But who are they and

who sends them to the homes of UFO witnesses?

An encounter with the mysterious figures can be one of the

most disturbing experiences a UFO witness can have. Visits

from MIBs follow a set pattern and usually happens to a male

UFO witness who reports his sighting or encounter.

Immediately after (and often before) he reports the sighting,

two or three figures who appear to be almost human, dressed in

black conservative suits, often with sharply white shirts,

black ties, dark hats and black shoes, arrive at the witness's

home.

They appear to be FBI agents from early black and white

B-movies. Some appear to be suntanned or olive skinned with

Asian features. Some are pale and wan. They flash badges and

ID, claiming to be from government agencies or UFO

investigating organizations.

They often appear awkward or ill-at-ease and talk in the

stilted, dramatic slang of 1940s gangster movies, warning

witnesses that if they want their wives to "... stay as pretty

as she is," they will keep their mouths shut or recover

samples or photographs sent to labs for analysis.

Their cars are as unusual as the entities. Classic reports of

MIBs state they arrive in brand new Cadillacs (in America) or

brand new Jaguars (in the UK and Europe), although the models

they drive have been out of production for 20 or 30 years!

License plates, when checked, are always numbers that have not

been issued. A third entity will often remain in the car,

sometimes enshrouded in an ozone-like aura.

One explanation of the enigma is that they are some kind of

transmitted hallucination. Another is that they are pure

hallucinations conjured from the minds of the witnesses,

perhaps as a result of the stress associated with a UFO

encounter. But why their appearance and mannerisms remain so

consistent in reports from worldwide sources, including from

people in remote areas who know little or nothing of UFO lore,

remains a mystery.

More complex theories purport that MIBs are a part of some

elaborate psychological experiment conducted by government

agencies, both foreign and domestic, using subliminal

transmissions and telepathy to either implant the images or to

test a witness's integrity.

In 1976, Dr. Herbert Hopkins was working as a consulting

hypnotist on an alleged UFO abduction case in Maine. One night

when he was home alone, he received a telephone call from a

person who said he represented a New Jersey UFO research

group, a claim which later proved to be false.

The caller asked to visit Hopkins to discuss the abduction

case and the doctor agreed to meet with the caller. It was

only after the meeting that he would reflect upon how odd it

was that he had so readily agreed to share the details of the

case with a stranger.

He did not even consider it odd at the time, however, that

only seconds after the call he found a man waiting at his

front door. The man was hairless; bald and completely without

eyelashes or brows. He was dressed in the classic black suit,

white shirt. black ties, black shoes. Hopkins imagined that he

was a mortician.

Completely at ease with this unusual visitor whose dead-white

face was punctuated only by lips that appeared to be covered

with lipstick, Dr. Hopkins invited the man in and sat with him

for some time while the details of the abduction case were

discussed.

After a period, Hopkins noticed that the stranger's speech was

slowing and his movements appeared to become unsteady. His

parting words to his host, as he rose to leave, were: "My

energy is running low. Must go now. Good-bye." Only after the

MIB had staggered away did Hopkins understand the strangeness

of the event.

With certain variations, this visit is considered to be

typical of the legendary Men In Black, beings who are on the

surface human, but who are clearly something else. Since the

1950s, MIB have become almost an adjunct of some UFO sightings

and have attained a near-mythical status in UFO lore.

Many MIB appear to be puzzled and confused about such everyday

items as ball-point pens and eating utensils. Nearly all have

in common a somber appearance and immaculate black and white

attire. They tend to be robotic or android-like, emotionless

and business-like in their mannerisms. Some instill fear by

their very appearance and presence.

Although there has never been a report of actual physical

harm, MIBs often threaten witnesses with all sorts of violence

to dissuade them from talking about UFO sightings or seeking

information about them.

The theory that MIBs are from some government organization has

gradually lost favor, primarily because no one can imagine any

but the most paranoid and nefarious federal agents of

perpetrating such a conspiracy, but that is not to say that

paranoid and dangerous federal agents are not out there

listening to your phone calls or reading your mail.

Whether or not they paint their faces and dress in pressed

black suits to dissuade you from investigating your UFO

encounter too closely is another question, and one that may

never be satisfactorily answered.

Southeast England (exact location not given)Date: February 11 2006 Time: nightThe witness was taking out the rubbish when he heard an extremely low pitched sound, very deep and rumbling, he felt it more than he heard it. He peered at the forest which is at the end of his garden, separated only by a small, barred fence and could see two large circular objects that glinted with a soft yellow, sort of like cat's eyes, except they were much larger and without pupils. The circles got darker towards the edges. He then switched on the outside light, which increased the pitch of the rumbling and the discs got brighter in color. He dropped the rubbish and began to walk down the path, towards the end of his garden. After a few steps the pitch of the sound increased. He hesitated but then continued. With every few steps, the pitch increased, and when he was almost at the bottom of the garden, it was almost painful. He decided then to go no further, but he had a fairly obscured look of what was there. The discs were high on the thing which made him think they were eyes. He could see that they were on the sides of a head, not on the front and he was merely seeing the front of almost orb-like eyes. He thought that the creature was furry, or at least had hair of some kind, but it was dark and he couldn't see very well, it was rather large, about six or seven foot high. He couldn't see much more of it, and it was slowly moving backwards. Scared he ran into the house and locked the door. Later during the night he heard a low pitched rumbling a few times. Oddly enough it sometimes came from above and sometimes from below. When he turned the light on to take a look out the window he saw something pretty much the same shape as what he had seen earlier in the woods (vaguely humanoid rather wide and covered with humps) fluttering about in short hops in his garden and the field next to it. In the morning when he went to the yard to investigate he found the rubbish strewn about. Also the wire they used to make sure rabbits do not simply slip through the bars was sunken to the ground.
