UFO? Scientists Go To Great Heights To Study Orcas
When the Google alert about a UFO came to my mailbox, I naturally assumed that it was going to be a joke about orcas - what other 'cigar shaped objects' would have shown up in a search for references to Haro Strait? I supposed it could have been a boat, a submarine, or fish, but naturally my mind just naturally turns to whales. Who knew it would turn out to be a sincere sighting, but one that had been quickly resolved by a response from the researchers aboard the 'space craft'. Read rest here
UFO SIGHTING IN THE PACIFIC MAKES NEWS IN AUSTRALIA, VIDEO
A UFO video that was filmed (see video below) by an Australian cruise passenger while in New Caledonia in the Pacific is making news in Australia at the moment.
A retired businessman, Mr Nick Brent, happened to see two unusual drones hovering over a body of water. The two black UFOs can be seen moving over the water before vanishing. UFO researchers in Australia have been contacted regarding the footage but no answers have been forthcoming.
This is not the first time UFO drones have been seen hovering over water in the region. One of Australia's best known UFO events took place in Gosford NSW around a decade ago. This case involved multiple residents seeing a drone UFO hover over a nearby waterway and suck up water. See video here
IN COLORADO, AT LEAST, THE LONG BALLOON BOY SAGA IS OVER
Leaving only a garage full of junk and a bizarre but increasingly distant memory, the Heene family, which made its name internationally notorious when father Richard told police and media outlets his son, Falcon, was missing and presumed to be high above the earth in a UFO-looking homemade weather balloon, packed up and left town last week, setting off for the warmer climes of Florida. It's an ironic end to a depressing story that started in a misguided bid for fame and ended in just that, in the worst possible way. Read rest here
UFO NEWS: 2 UFOS FLYING OVER WATER IN NOUMEA, NEW CALEDONIA
Two strange black UFOs were filmed hovering over a lake by 68 year old Nick Brent in Australia that has experts over there baffled by what he filmed. The footage shows two bizarre dark objects atop the lake that can hover and accelerate with ease. Read rest here

The subject of contact with intelligent extraterrestrial beings seems to steadily be gaining more credibility in mainstream media outlets, thanks to increasingly responsible journalism.
In the Sunday, Sept. 12, edition of Phoenix's The Arizona Republic daily newspaper, an excerpt from the new book by journalist Leslie Kean was printed in the "Viewpoints" section of the paper. Read rest here
WATCH SETI WEBCAST THIS WEEK
The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) is sponsoring a workshop this week on the past and next 50 years of SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) an (SETI), and they are webcasting many of the sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, September 13-15. The workshop featuring leading scientific researchers as well as authors, historians, religious leaders, and biologists. Viewers will be able to send questions to the presenters.
