You thought you knew what UFOs look like since you have seen so much TV shows and movies with aliens and ships. This UFO is unlike any seen before either in real life or in a movie. This photo is an actual Apollo 17 photo from the last moon mission.

There are several intriguing things about this photo that you should keep in mind while considering the possibilities that such a ship can exist.

First off, notice that the Apollo astronauts themselves noticed the UFO. How do we know that? Because of the angle of the camera in the photo. It is aimed directly at the hovering UFO. Somewhere in a secret vault at NASA, there is a film recording of this UFO moving and watch the Apollo astronauts.

After about 5 mins I went to sit down in my chair & I happened to look toward my neighbor's house and just about 3 houses down above the treeline wete these bright lights. Brighter than any spotlights I've ever seen moving in a circular rotation type pattern. There was NO sound what so ever. This object looked like it was heading toward the Longview airport/ Kilgore, Tx area. I live only a few miles from the Longview airport so I see & hear airplanes & helicopters. This object was neither of these. After about a minute the object went out of my sight. I sat there thinking oh my God what did I just see. I got up & went into the yard trying to see if I could see this object again, but sadly I couldnt see it anymore. I still can not wrap my brain around what I saw. I tried finding this object again but then I was scared that if it would come back I didnt want to be out in the open. Just in case it could abduct anyone. After about 5 mins more my dogs & I came inside & still oinda in shock I called my Aunt to ask her to go outside to see if she can see anything. Since the object was kind of headed her direction. The 1927 Prophecy

I have been examining the early history of my group UFOIC - the UFO Investigation Centre based in Sydney, NSW. Formed in November 1956 from the remnants of Edgar Jarrold's founding group AFSB (Australian Flying Saucer Bureau) (1953-55) and its immediate successor AFSRS (Australian Flying Saucer Research Society) NSW branch (1955-56), UFOIC continued in various forms through to today - 50 years later. I became a NSW north coast member in the late 1960s, but only joined the UFOIC committee in 1975.

This focus on the 50 year history of UFOIC (1956-2006 and beyond) had some fascinating and potent resonances with my recent detailed explorations of the Chinese UFO experience. My 2005 trip to China, led to many deep connections with UFO research there as well as the wider dimensions of the controversy in China. (I followed that up with a research trip into Thailand and China in 2006). Inevitably with the profound depths of history in China I also reflected on any earlier intersections of western ufology with Chinese manifestations.

An unexpected intersection came with the early history of UFOIC, in the person of Andrew Tomas (1906-2001), of whom I wrote an obituary for the Ufologist (Vol.5 No.6 2002). Andrew Tomas became a key associate of Edgar Jarrold's pioneering group back in period from 1953 to 1955. Originally from Russia, he came to Australia in 1948, as part of the stream of people fleeing the turmoil in China, a place he had spent considerable time in particularly exploring the mysteries of the orient. In 1935 he met his spiritual mentor, a fellow Russian, the mystic artist and explorer Nicholas Roerich, in Shanghai. Roerich was lecturing and it was his description of a strange experience in August 1927 in northern China that captured Tomas' attention and anticipated an obsession to come.

Roerich's travel diary "Altai-Himalaya", the chronicle of his 1924-1929 Asian expedition, describes what happened:

"On August 5th - something remarkable! We were in our camp in the Kukunor district not far from the Humboldt Chain. In the morning about half-past nine some of our caravaneers noticed a remarkably big black eagle flying above us. Seven of us began to watch this unusual bird. At this same moment another of our caravaneers remarked, "There is something far above the bird." And he shouted in his astonishment. We all saw, in a direction from north to south, something big and shiny reflecting the sun, like a huge oval moving at great speed. Crossing our camp this thing changed in its direction from south to southwest. And we saw how it disappeared in the intense blue sky. We even had time to take our field glasses and saw quite distinctly an oval form with a shiny surface, one side of which was brilliant from the sun."Roerich had no immediate explanation for what he and his fellow travellers had seen. When Andrew Tomas met Roerich in Shanghai in 1935 he suggested the aerial object was an "aircraft or spacecraft from Shambhala". Shambhala was the hidden civilisation than Roerich, Tomas and others spent much of their lives seeking - simplistically captured in the classic book "Lost Horizon" (1933) and the 1937 movie of the same name, which immortalised the myth of the hidden paradise of Shangri-La. Tomas would return to this theme and the 1927 incident in some of his books, particularly "Shambhala: Oasis of Light" (1977). Some points have become confused, not the least the year it occurred in. Many suggest 1926, but it in fact occurred in 1927. Roerich himself would change his perception of the strange big bird that heralded the unknown aerial object. In his book "Shambhala - In search of the new Era" (1930) Roerich calls the bird a vulture.

I found it bizarrely coincidental that another strange bird figured in further 1927 events in a UFOIC investigation I undertook which focused on the small settlement of Fernvale, in northern NSW. Fernvale was haunted by giant bird like creatures, UFOs, and other bizarre events in an extraordinary mirror of events that would be played out again 40 years later in West Virginia USA, which in turn have been popularised in John Keel's UFO-gothic classic "The Mothman Prophecies" (1975). The 1927 events near Murwillumbah, NSW, and indeed the Chinese Shambhalic apparition and others, prefigured the modern birth of the UFO controversy in 1947, and thus I call it "the 1927 prophecy".

The "Sport Model" saucer is silver in color, sleek, symmetrical
classic saucer shape with a tall and thin cone shaped projection
on the top center. The "Top Hat" saucer appears to be a titanium
white color and resembles a circular shaped flat clothes pressing
iron. Similar to the "Hangar 18" movie saucer, it has a flat-
bottom base and a raised platform style flat ridge around the
circumference, like the rim of a hat. In a triangle pattern
around the platform's upper surface are three projections
sticking out. One protrusion is a half-sphere shape, one is a
half-barrel shape, and another rectangular. In the center of
these is what looks like a half of a handle -- reminiscent of the
curved electrode on an automotive spark plug. The "Jello Mold"
craft looks just like its namesake. The metallic exterior has
slight blue tinge to it. It's taller than the other craft and
not as wide with adjacent rounded vertical ridges surrounding a

Lazar picks up a glass lab item and places it on the desk near
some calibration equipment.

HAUSLE(V/O)

Lazar says he was referred to his
government job by Dr. Edward Teller, the
renowned scientist who helped develop the
atomic bomb.

INT. EDWARD TELLER INTERVIEW ROOM

We SEE video of Teller talking, but Teller's actual words are not
heard. PULL BACK to SEE that Teller is seated, he gestures with
eyeglasses in hand as...

But in a rare interview with INDISE
REPORT, Teller insisted he doesn't know
Lazar, or at least, doesn't remember him.

I think it appears that someone's trying
to wipe him out.

HAUSLE(V/O)

George Knapp is the Las Vegas TV reporter
who first aired Bob Lazar's amazing
claims. He says he ran into unusual
problems just trying to look into Lazar's
background.

Though Lazar claimed to have once worked
at the Los Alamos National Laboratory,
government officials denied they knew
anything about him.

directory listing Lazar's name, Los Alamos
grudgingly admitted he had spent some time
there.

Officials at the hospital where Lazar was
born even denied the simple fact that he
was born there, until Knapp tracked down
the doctor who delivered Lazar.

I find Bob to be credible and the main
reason is because the story hasn't
changed. It's stayed from the beginning;
it's been the same. It hasn't expanded
like some of these UFO tales you hear;
it's been the same. And we've been
through a lot of different interview
sessions, many on camera, many more off
camera, and it's stayed exactly the same;
consistent.

Lazar may indeed be the real thing. But
he says he can also believe Lazar might be
a hoaxter -- or worse yet, a government
agent spreading false stories designed to
cover more important secrets.

I find Bob Lazar as somebody who isn't
silly, who doesn't say totally stupid
things. He comes across well. But I
certainly -- until I get verification
cannot endorse the legitimacy of what he
is saying.

Bob Lazar says he quit his job working on
the government saucers when his bosses
began harassing him, because he was
letting others in on the big secret.

claims with skepticism and outright
hostility, he says he wishes he'd just
kept his big mouth shut. Lazar says he
never took the idea of breaking security
lightly. He just wanted to let the world
in on a story he says we all should have
been told.
