NEW UFO ORB SIGHTING IN ROTTERDAM NEW YORK (2013)

"Driving on rte 7 from Duanesburg, towards Schenectady, three blue orbs were flying over the industrial park in a triangle formation. They combined and came towards the road. Over the road the super orb hovered and glowed red. By this point people on the road had come out of their cars, some staring in disbelief, others grabbing out cameras.

The orb then descended to about 10ft above the people watching and sat idly for awhile. The radio that was on, shut off, the engine of the car began to run funny (as if the electrical components were having issues) and when trying to take a cell phone pictures, the phone immediately began to die.

The orb then split off in three directions, one direction being down the road towards schenectady.

Before it completely flew off, it flew in a square shape, the square trail holding illumination as the object itself flew away, and the square began to disappate.

When the orb left the radio began to come on, but not in a normal way there was a static as it slowly began to regain signal and function. The cell phone went back to being fully charged.

I post this in hopes that the other witnesses find this, and share there pictures also.

Weird Vacation Memories

Okay, we've mostly unpacked from our excursion to Wisconsin and back, and are now thinking back on our fond memories of our Weird Vacation.

Yes, we did get photos of the World's Largest Badger and Chet & Emil's Giant Chicken. We also ate at Paul Bunyan's Mess Hall, and dined very well at Vince Lombardi's Steak House. He spent time in the Houdini Museum in Appleton, and stopped in at the original Space Aliens Grill & Bar in Fargo.

As if that wasn't enough, we also visited perhaps a dozen or more bookstores and music stores (and antiques stores and knickknack stores) and bought far more than we should have.

I found about a half dozen UFO books I didn't have (remarkable if you know my collection). But this seemed to be the year of DVDs, particularly those with a UFO connection. I picked up the first season of The Greatest American Hero. (UFO Connection: Robert Culp calls the aliens who gave the supersuit to them the "green guys.") And the first two seasons of Green Acres. (UFO Connection: In the second season, Eb meets aliens from a flying saucer who impart the secret of life to him.)

Also, the first season of Sliders. (UFO Connection: Late in the season, the Sliders slip into an alternate San Francisco that has been overrun by Krangs from another planet.)

And many non-UFO DVDs, like the first season of Banacek (if you have to ask, don't) and the original Longest Yard with Burt Reynolds (superior to the Adam Sandler version). And the first season of the old Fu Manchu TV series. (Very cool)

One of the highlights of the trip was the Houdini museum in Appleton, Wisconsin. Among the displays, you could actually try out the wrist braces that he used to levitate tables and fool spiritualists into thinking that ghosts were moving the furniture. Awesome.

As for the Space Aliens Grill & Bar, this was the second I've been to, and Donna's third. (There are only six.) We took some pix which I'll put up when I have a chance. I highly recommend the pork bun. The arcade actually does have a game where you "Whack-an-alien" to get credits that you can exchange for UFO toys and souvenirs. I added greatly to my UFO/alien knickknack collection, unfortunately for my wallet. We now have an alien head cookie jar, matching salt-and-pepper shakers and a green alien M&M dispenser. That's in addition to pens, pencils, a UFO paddle-ball set, and a Space Aliens cap and mug. Oh, and while we were in a Goodwill store somewhere in the USA, I found a foot-tall stuffed K-9 from the Marvin the Martian theme.

Ya gotta love the UFO phenomenon, don't ya?

OWL TERRORIZING DUTCH TOWN

PURMEREND, Netherlands, March 14 (UPI) -- An eagle-owl that has reigned terror over a small Dutch town for more than a year has been captured and will be relocated.

Dubbed the "terror owl" by locals, the bird of prey has been swooping down on unsuspecting residents and gouging flesh. At least 50 people have been injured, many requiring stitches.

"The attacks often lead to nasty injuries, including hefty bumps, cuts and scratches," Purmerend leaders said in a written statement.

Friday, a falconer captured the owl, moving it to a temporary aviary until a suitable home is located.

"The municipality had planned to leave the bird alone, but the attacks were more intense," city leaders said. "Many residents in the area were anxious to go on the street."

The bird is one of the most common and largest species of owls in the world. While it is a protected species, city leaders received a special exemption to relocate the creature.

Another dive-bombing owl in Oregon has led park workers to recommend people wear hard hats between dusk and dawn during nesting season.

LOS ANGELES, CA - 1/10/2014: I was at my boyfriend's apartment and we were leaving his apartment to get in my parked car that was in the alley next to his building. We were sitting in the car listening to music and talking with the sun roof open. So then we started to look up at the stars and we both seen about 10 or so black flying helicopters or something flying in a V like shape. The black flying objects kind of looked like birds because they were small but they were moving too fast and it was about 10pm at night to be birds. So then the black objects flew off into the distance. So we both got out off of the car to get a better look at the sky and that is when I saw a reptile bird like creature with feathers and wings. And I knew that is was a bird because I could see the wings flapping like a bird but also the feathers were blowing in the wind. The creature was like a pterodactyl because it was huge and it look like a mix of reptile and a bird. I only seen the bird for less then a minute and it flew off behind the apartment building. The weird thing about these sighting are that I also seen another flying object at the same location. But it was about a year earlier. I seen the other flying object in the same way around the same time in the car in the alley next to the new carver apartments in downtown los angeles. This flying object was different from the black objects and the bird like creature. It was brown moving in a waving motion or moving like a snake in the sky. It was also like a hover craft because it looked like it was floating in the sky. Once my boyfriend and I saw this object it shape-shifted into the color of the sky. And we both could feel the energy of the flying object it was almost like the flying object knew we were looking at it. But we could still see it in its cloud form.
